*Location** : NYC*** *Duration** : 12** Months *** *Note : Need Green card or US Citizen only..* *Job Description:* *Roles and Responsibilities:* Visual C++ - porting a component to compile and work under Windows 7, which was last known to work under Windows XP. We have a library that was written using Managed Extensions for C++ in Visual C++ 2005. This library was originally used by a .NET 2.0 application on 32-bit Windows XP. Now that we’ve moved to 64-bit Windows 7, this component is no longer functional. When we try to compile the library using Visual Studio 2008, we get tons of errors. We need someone to come in and troubleshoot this component on our upgraded technology stack. Once the compile errors are resolved, we need support with any issues that might arise calling the library from .NET 4.0.
