There was one report of a similar 20 sec delay on this thread and a fix from
Microsoft.
However, after the last few updates the delay has gone away and 1.5.10 runs
just fine.
The 1.5.10 downloaded msi file is named openafs-en-US-1-5-11.msi. I can send

I haven't tried it yet. As I understand it, it was replaced by a plugin for the
KfM, but maybe I was mistaken. If afscreds.exe is still included and works,
then all the better
At the moment, I'm trying to decide which oafs for windows to go with. Afscreds
is needed as our university has an older v
afscreds was not removed. the KFW 3.1 plug-in was added.
Perhaps you should try installing it.
