Hi!
Right now I try to setup a VPN connect with the cisco VPN adapter to
$private_network.
I had to choose TCP tunnel in cisco.
Before I activated the VPN, OpenAFS service was running and I got a token.
I started the VPN, got connected and a private
Servers seam to well communicate as I can see in PtLog and VLLog:

I've tried to follow the AFS Quick Start Guide for configuring two=20

vos examine root.afs
vos examine root.cell
you might consider configuring the client with -dynroot (probably in the
client options in /etc/sysconfig/afs; it's an afsd switch) in which case the
panic will go away regardless and you can focus on the core issue of
unbreaking your cell.

There is no reason why the AFS service must be started after the VPN
when Freelance mode is used. You can always access \\A
