I want to rearrange some of my disk space, including shrinking the size of
one of my AFS partitions (/vicepa). Is is safe to use GNU Parted to do
this (with the file server shut down, of course)?

We're still using kaserver for now, but I noticed the other
day that I did not know the password for our krb5 'admin'
principal, so eventually this needs to be fixed.
We use admin/admin for KDC administration, which doesn't
work for privileged AFS ops.

Or you can create a different privileged user in AFS. Either works.

recently, i found i use "hctseng" user to list "sysman" user
directory. it appeared many "?" marks. like below :
[hcts...@ sysman]$ ls -l
total 20
