Acutally I just got it to work. thanks for the quick response though For anyone interested: When I was logged in as root, using klog admin, I could not set his permissions. Finally, I logged in as the student, did klog admin and ran # fs sa ~ rjacobs rlidkwa and that worked. I have no idea

Hello All, I have to move some directory from a place to another, inside the same server. I have done a mv * /afs/newdir/. but all the permissions are gone (there are only present that ereditated from the root directory). How i can move files preserving attributes and privileges? Cheers, Claudio
