The OpenAFS Windows Download page lists some Microsoft Hotfixes, some of
which are deemed critical for the correct operation of OpenAFS. One of
these, for Windows XP, is supposedly 971421 (the last one on the page).

That seems a bit over-simplified. I think most folks would be
surprised when whole directory trees suddenly got moved to the
archive even though files within those trees had changed recently.
