Hi all,
AFAIK the loopback adapter needs to be reinstalled after the
cloning procedure. I think there is a way to have unattended (re)
installation of it.

Thanks Jim for the answer,
actually i was curious about the client side. Unfortunately my (low

success stories.

Had anyone any similar problem?
Is there any safe way to copy the files from samba to afs and have
readable filenames both for files created from samba server shell
(iso885-7) and from windows (samba - unicode)?

However, I would still like to know why the IsPathInAFS()
command is failing. Is it failing because the directory
requires tokens and you don't have any?
Yes.
After i removed this evil command it returned TRUE.

Please don't shoot me...
Problem solved.
After searching in Group Policy at Active Directory, i found an evil
"@unlog" command in a logoff script.
It was from a previous afs install on which afs tokens were not removed
on logoff.
Thank you all for the help.

The only way to debug this is going to be adding code to

PS: i deleted roaming profile directory on afs. it was recreated at
logon. and it wasn't found at logoff (as i can see in log) i

FALSE. i thought that this may be the problem so i changed the code of
this function to always return TRUE. Still no success.
