Hi Ryan,
Norbert was a colleague of mine and retired some years ago. I talked to him
recently, and in principle he would be interested in making required changes to
his code if there are some people who actively use this code. So if there are
more users than you and me who are interested, it m
Hi Giovanni,
I did the migration with hardware replacement and distribution upgrade over
several weeks in March this year. Everything went fluently taking these steps:
original: 3x 1.6.22.1
intermediate: 2x 1.6.22.1 + 1x 1.8.7
intermediate: 1x 1.6.22.1 + 2x 1.8.7
final : 3x 1.
Dear Jeffrey and others,
please allow a more general upgrade question:

The clients with the patched 1.8.6 have been rebooted. All database and
fileservers servers have not been rebooted.

obtained after timeout.
Cheers and thanks again,

Dear Jeffrey,
many thanks for your fast response from Germany too!
When issuing "vos listvol " on a patched 1.8.6 client to an 1.6.22.1 , I
still get "Could not get the list of partitions from the server. Possible communication failure". The
same command works from a client running 1.6.23.

Dear Steve,
thanks a lot for your tool. Small problem: if a server currently has no
partitions, you'll get a division by zero when calculating $pct. You'll find a
simple patch enclosed. (Formatting is done to keep the patch small. There
should be an additional indentation to all lines inside th

Hi all,
I have a little problem with the new allowed partition sizes in 1.4.8.
We are working with 10TB partition sizes and up to 2TB volumes inside these.
A "fs lq" to one of these partitions reports a overbooking result for the
partition:
