Can I share a disc that is carrying a reiserfs using AFS?
I know the limitation of reiserfs/xfs/jfs combined with AFS on
the client side... i.e. the client-side cache needs to be either
ext2 or ext3, but what about the server side local file

The short answer: No.
The long answer: AFS does not share a disk/volume like SMB, CIFFS or
NFS. It maintains its data in a kind of black-box structure. The only
reasonable way to get this
