First of all, thanks for your answer. Sendmail is removed from the starup scripts and if I issue only "/etc/init.d/openprotect stop", "/etc/init.d/openprotect start" commands after boot without manually reloading sendmail I get the "forced reload ..." problem again and the system doesn't work.
I don't know if it is useful, but when I start the system after the error the /var/run/sendmail/stampdir is empty and doesn't contain the reload file with the correct timestamp.
