This patch can make ensure that unversioned kernel image symlink will be
added to the rootfs during do_install by post install and it can fall
back to make a copy if the unversioned kernel image symlink creation
fails on target.
I have done the basic test on my board and the oe-selftest for this

Some filesystems don't support symlink, then you will get failure when
you install or update the kernel rpm package. Now we use a copy of
image for these filesystems instead of symlink.

I thought so, too.Didn't swoop it up in the patch i've sent in though to keep things organized.I'll look into it next week and supply another patch if the same principle applies.Greetings,Timon

The commit d4be264061 ("classes/archiver: run do_unpack_and_patch after

Currently if the find command finds /home it stops checking the other
files. Tweak the find expression to fix this.
Also, from Alex Kiernan , generate output for
each contaminated path so it's visible in the main log file.
When matches are found, dump the data from the group and passwd files
so

OE-core today has three different package managers, the well-known formats deb
and rpm is supported as well as ipkg that is good for embedded devices.
When building and having a good cache hit, a significant amount of time is
spent in the phase of generating a rootfs, which is really about the
