This implements an 'npm cache add' like functionality but allows to
specify the key of the data and sets metadata which are required to
find the data.
It is used to cache information as done during 'npm install'.
Keyformat and metadata are nodejs version specific.

Isn't it a bit premature to claim langdale compatibility when we don't know
what changes langdale will need?
I think it makes more sense to add this at the end of cycle, not at the
beginning.

Hi,
does this work correctly for you with nodejs-native?
Here it fails to load legacy module:
recipe-sysroot-native/usr/bin/node -p 'crypto.createHash("md4")'
--openssl-legacy-provider
Unable to load legacy provider.
node:internal/crypto/hash:67
this[kHandle] = new _Hash(algorithm, xofLen);
Just like the .patch file in master branch, does hardknott have stricter

This version fails to build here with:

| ../git/configure: line 3778: `AX_CXX_COMPILE_STDCXX_17(noext)'
switching back to older version builds fine.
AX_CXX_COMPILE_STDCXX_17 was introduced in

There is only copyright notice before this chunk, so this doesn't make much
sense to me (and no other recipe does this).

FYI: In case someone has some prebuilt binaries linking against libjsoncpp,
then these "minor" changes also bumped the
meson 0.60+ errors out on unknown options and -Dintrospection
is not a valid option

This reverts commit cb1968b5410fa415f5c6c70264ce83c4112b6d4d.
There is already vapi PACKAGECONFIG added in:
https://git.openembedded.org/meta-openembedded/commit/?id=8e816f6fd17ae4142e67b2224ef88dae97435a1c
which resolves this.

lmsensors will build isadump and isaset only on x86 architecture.
Depending on this package breaks lmsensors on all non-x86 machines. Fix
this by enabling ${PN}-isatools dependency only on x86.
