I'm very much interested in this topic, and wrote a paper for my
Consumer Health Information class at OHSU's Informatics department on
it. I got an "A" in the class so I must have done something right!

I don't think you'll find much beyond the Mirth web site, if that is what
you are asking. They do have the usual wikis, forums, etc. and my
experience with these is that you can get answers. Like most software,
documentation is always a bit behind. I note that they are promising full

Interesting proposal for a clinical messaging system and you seem to have
