I'm curious, where is the OS installed? Also did you compile crystaldisk for
Solaris or run it over network from a windows box? Perhaps looking into file
bench would give you more numbers to look at and depending on what you plan on
doing with the nas, help decide if it is tuned correctly.
i installed solaris on p0 of one of the ssds, performed a software raid 1 to
the other ssd for boot, and then used thh remaining partition on the ssds as
the cache device. this is why you see the cache drives as c2t12d0p2 and
c2t13d0p2

For many years with Solaris 8 I used OpenSSH (installing the
/dev/random patch, installing OpenSSL and installing OpenSSH was part
of my standard setup script) ...
but since Solaris 9; I've always relied on the in-built ssh server ...
why do you want to change it?

On NVidia's site there is a downloadable driver for that both those
cards for Solaris. if you want 3D support you can't get better than
NVidia ...
I don't have those myself (wish I did stupid Intel laptop) so I can't
test, but I've not had a problem with NVidia drivers in years.

12.1 and 12.2. Sometimes it is less happy from some strange C++
constructs but not b
Have you considered NFS? I had much better performance with the sun 7000 back
when I was lucky enough to run VMware over 10gb NFS. Especially with the
read/write characteristics of VMware. Not to Mention thin provisioning and easy
expansion etc etc.
