The following happened on a VM that gets updated just about daily (might go as
long as a few weeks occasionally, but that wasn't the case now), so it's not as

I am getting errors today and had not updated for a week or so,
virtualbox was last running on friday.
Maybe someone can check the kernel module versions if they are the same
as i have:
$ VBoxManage startvm aLinux
