Dear All,
I have used the Beadm Destroy -s tool to manually remove backup copies
and liberated much needed space. Then used update and fixed some errors
with pkg fix .
Everything seems to be back to normal. This to me is a good educational
exercise in solving such issues in the future.

Boot environments are created as part of the update proces to make
updates Atomic.

$ beadm list
is reporting?
you have a disk space issue
vmstat will report on memory/swap
pkg fix also generates a new boot environment

I have deleted legacy snapshots,files etc but not fu
