i have oi_148. I want to extract my own personal cds on mp3 player, but
sound juicer doesn't propose this format. However, mp3 exists in
Preferences-Profiles, with this Gstreamer pipeline:
audio/x-raw-int,rate=44100,channels=2 ! lame name=enc mode=0
vbr-quality=6 ! id3v2mux

They provided gstreamer codecs and other packages. I'm not sure what
the current state is.

I hate to say it; but, as a last ditch effort, you could also install the
CSW repository under /opt from either Blastwave or OpenCSW.
Hate to say because the CSW repository can have a fair bit of duplication
of existing packages; that, are dependencies to what you may be installing.
