We are getting a number of confused users who think that OpenLP can't
start because of error messages in the presentation controller detection
code. This is not a fatal error, so I recommend we change the log
statement to log.error to log.warn to lessen the number of forum

Hello,
Before revision 1964 you could use the Windows Key + D to minimizes all
applications (including OpenLP). However, the display screen would not
be minimised. This was very handy when you had to start another
application or similar things.
But in revision 1964 this was
OpenLP is consistent with PowerPoint, Impress, openlp v1, and every
other application I have worked with in this respect. I don't think we
should counter users expectations and Windows intent with our own
interpretation of the Minimize all button, by thinking our app is above
the rules.

In case of line 9 the user is directly informed with an error_message_box (line
616-622 in bibleupgradeform), that's why i use log.error. I hope this is ok.
Otherwise I'll change that too to log.warn.

As a related note: In Fedora 15, Bringing up the Gnome 3 activities
window shows all running programs on the main display, and makes the

Simon, I have noticed that also, but I'm doubting if there is a lot that
can be done there. However, I think if you want to peck around in the
gconf-settings there is probably a solution to that. I will see what I
can come up with.
