This is particularity an issue when using OpenLP in single screen as
the only way to get back to the GUI is to press the ESC. If the the
timer is close to changing the slide the display could pop up again
almost straight away after closing it.

I'm not actually sure if this is a bug or not. Maybe its because I'm new
to OSX?
I noticed today that when I minimised the GUI that it minimised to an
icon on the right of the doc as described at
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2474 :

Hi Joakim,
How doest this differ from the current system with the "Stop playing
slides in loop" button? The slides continue to loop from the position
that you last stopped them.

Tested on Ubuntu 13.10 and appears fine.
Send a group of images live and start the images looping using the "play
slides in loop" then click on "Save as". The "Save as" dialogue
disappears when the live image changes.
