I tried it and it is neat. There is only one problem. When all those
options are disabled, then double-clicking verse in preview pane adds
the song to the service, and does it every time you double-click, which
is odd.
Also I myself would vote to not making this optional. Advanced tab in
settings
Tim, quickly pressing just D makes it more visible, it might not happen
on every try.
Happens on my T420 with Intel graphics with 2.0.4 (unfortunately upgrade
path is blocked by incompatible dependencies and I cannot test 2.1.x

middlebutton emulation.
The good thing about this proposal is that it also improves usability

Mentioned strip_rtf is more universal than EasyWorship importer's, it supports
setting encoding using font table. I have no EasyWorship files for testing, but

Changing the default to Item theme or Plugin theme is just what I
suggested the other day :).
But actually I would remove this feature altogether, no option in settings, no
default service theme. Instead there would be a checkbox in theme manager
named Override theme changes.

and as before, one could use repeated same verse marker for hard breaks.
Unfortunately this complicates the situation.
Lettering all verse parts as v1a, v1b, v1c is easy. But how to mark soft

The problem seems to be, that we use
QtCore.QByteArray.fromPercentEncoding(data) and unicode(data, 'utf8')
too early (introduced by me several months ago), before JSON decoding,
if it was done later, none of that would be a problem and fronends could
have gone untouched.

BTW, I actually find it easier to read the way it is, all Qt elements use
camelCase and temporary variables, which use Pythonized values use
lower_case_names.

Right now, if user saves with wrong syntax, he gets the default name. But if he
opens the settings dialog again, it still contains his old service name which
had wrong syntax. So he could fix it. But this can be seen as bug as well.

Oh, I was wrong about the second point, should have read the warning more

To prevent the problem we should test all translations when updating
these, if both source and destination have the same number of
replacement markers such as %s, %d, %f and probably others. Also we
should keep in mind, that %.2f and % 2s are correct markers.
