When I start openoffice using command ./red5.sh, I catch with error
Exception in thread main java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/red5/
server/Bootstrap
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.red5.server.Bootstrap
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:202)
What is your OS and also what Java Version are you using?
I have seen such errors on some systems, but it was somehow related to the
server config, and after re-trying several times the process did start.

You might try to use the red5-highperf.sh
You have to edit the file before you use it, and remove the param *...

I run red5-highperf.sh (but I did not found any string with word
param *... SwapGC ...* )
And then run red5.sh
OpenMeetings WORK!
