Currently we do not plan to release an additional client for the iPad.
However we might come up with some app and/or a modified version of
OpenMeetings for Tablets and Smartphones in the future.

yes,
each participant that enables audio/video produces each own stream.
I am not aware of any Web-Conferencing at this point that melts the
audio/video of all users into a single stream.

You won't achieve that without changing the source code of course.
But creating your own room-layout is basically the right path to get your
job done.

i have a debian 6 box that i want openmeetings on. i went through the
debian steps (pretty much, i used packages whenever possible). then i
looked at the centos guide and realized that i probably didn't need
half of those packages (and they don't modify the openoffice Startup
file).
however,
that means that you've missed to configure mysql to use utf8 as
default character set.
You need to set server-character-set=utf8 in my.cnf, stop
openmeetings, restart mysql, drop the database, start openmeetings and
run the installer again.

Also I do not think that you are working with the latest source code
version as the folders name have nothing todo with the filename
anymore.

modified on the whiteboard
in uploads/ there is a directory called *stored* with the stored files as XML.
