I will check my settings. am I to assume that the only port open in your
firewall is port 80?

Yes, I have Port 80, 443 and 1935 Open on Both TCP and UDP for testing.

Hello everyone - I was wondering if someone can help me with this error.

Hi Sebastian - have you configure your ubuntu to use the latest java?
Check which java you are running
at the prompt type: which java
try sudo update-alternatives --config java
I had lots of issue until I set the correct version.
