Hi David,
I'm not 100% sure how it all works as I just use the 'Plugin for
Moodle' provided by Sebastian (http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/
downloads/list)
The way to configure it is to create an 'Admin' account in
Openmeetings and write the details on the Moodle Plugin. I did try on

Hi,
Very similar to the 'skip the login user' post but not the same
I'm only using Openmeetings for 'Moodle' Integration. All good but the
problem I have is that the 'Open Meetings' integration needs an
'administrator' user account and my users can do anything they want by
using this account

>From the error you have my guess would be that your firewall is
closing the connection or red5 is not running at all. Why don't you
run red5/openmeetings on a command window so you can see the output of
the problem ? there is a batch file for you tu run instead of windows
service.

I've had a few problems myself with different versions of
openmeetings when clicking the 'install' button. Checking the red5
debug info it always turned out to have something to do with me :)
Few things that might help you.
1. Changed from localhost to serverip on the connection string for
mysq
As sebastian said, check that the images get created (that's how it
works when you use the presentation, it goes trough still images).
I had something similar, my problem was that the required software was
not on the path (or rather, I changed it when installing
openmeetings). I had to create a
Thanks guys,
I'll give that a try

Hi,
I have noticed that I can browse the folders inside openmeetings on
both my own install and the demo on openmeetings.de
Any ideas in how to disable the folder browsing on openmeetings ? I'm
a bit of a security freak and don't like people poking around :)
For example

Not too sure if this will help but there is a flash 10 plugin (pre-
release) for linux 64 bit. If you are using 64 bit you can try this
one instead of the 32bit emulation one.

Hi,
I'm working with webalizer trying to get some stats for my
openmeetings site. So far It works pretty well with all the red5 'web
based' stuff but it doesn't show any of the 'video conference' data as
it is not logged on red5
Any chance to enable logging for the video conference data so I can
How do you access the server internally and externally ? or you use
localhost or ip internally ? you might have to enter a host entry /
windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts for the server with the local ip (I
had problems before if I didn't do this)
Also, run red5 on a dos window instead of a servi

Hi,
I'm using Fedora core 11 (x64) as a server and Windows XP as client
Red5 with openmeetings -0.9rc1-r2185 is working nicely except for
viewing the uploaded presentations. Share screen doesn't work either
but I'll worry about that once I get this working
I upload the presentation and the thub
Hi,
I had the same problem even though I had all the SMTP data correct. My
problem was that I did not set the smtp port (25). I though It would
put it by default but it didn't :) Give that a try. Also, check your
iptables ;)
