Fixed it!
It turns out that it was a problem with swftool not being configured
properly.
Now that it is, files are uploaded correctly (docx files seem to have
some issues though).

I don't think OpenOffice makes a "64bit" distro for windows 7 (64bit
OS).
Maybe in headless mode the "32bit compatability mode" is failing?
