Hi German,
to avoid high bandwidht usage you can also tell your students only to
share audio not video.
For changing the default quality setting you would need to change the
login-box.

How can I make "medium" the default choice for quality settings at
login? Most of my students are accessing with very low bandwidth and
they very often forget to change the quality settings to medium.
