secondly it is best if you would post your server configuration(moodle
openmeetings) as it clears a lot of things...

The recording is now always enabled.
You start it via the Screen / Record button on the top-right.

You should consider getting the help of a developer or someone from
the project list:

1. Restart the server.
2. Ensure you have the browser cache cleared.
Also, updating to RC3 version would make the error log shorter - one
non-critical issue is fixed there.
