I'm using passive updates to notify OpenNMS of things going up or down.
However the current passive parameters use nodeLabel which is a pain to
get to. I suspect I want to be able to pass foreignId into the passive
update and use that to find the node if I can.
Can anyone point me to where
These values should be displayed in the SNMP attributes box as
Name/Value pairs with the name coming from a config that
specifies what
static SNMP values should be collected for what types of hardware.
Does this make sense/seem a good idea to people? Or is this a special
case of normal
