Ralf,
building postfix on a brand new install (debian etch), postfix
refuses to start with the following error;
minimal_etch:/# postfix start
postfix: fatal: file /openpkg/etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter
default_privs: user root has privileged user ID
minimal_etch:/# type postfix
openpkg packages. Afterall, no binaries seems to need
the root right, I had the habit of installing rpm as root, so I kept,
wrongly, this habit with openpkg..
Hope the lazy admins can sometime go to paradise in spite of their
lazyness :-)

don't know why openpkg builds freetype using make setup,
as the documentation for freetype tells (docs/INSTALL.UNIX) to use
./configure for any Unix system, including OSX.
maybe an old building system still working on most platforms ?
