This is no warrant that everything worked as expected. In this case the ultimate answer is what the apache binary lists as it's contents: $ $PREFIX/sbin/apache -l | grep su mod_suphp.c suexec: enabled; valid wrapper $PREFIX/sbin/suexec In case mod_suphp is missing please try the latest CURRENT package. We always fix that first. We might already have. Otherwise we have to. If the problem vanished in CURRENT we can merge the fix into the release and provide a update package.
