Jonathan Thomas: Though not quite as powerful as my original request,
assigning filters to tracks would definitely be a positive step forward.
I presume, from your example scenarios, you can still apply filters to
individual clips on a track... even if the given track has a filter
assigned to it?
cboteros: Yes, my original request was to apply this to the whole video
project. It could additionally be added as an effect to allow per-clip
cropping.

The current "Keyframe" system is a little limited as you can only
specify values for the "Start of Clip" and "End of clip".
It would be useful to allow users to add/remove their own "Keyframes"
between these default/internal entries, allowing for more varied and
finely-tuned
I'd also agree with this request, after accidentally deleting various
clips, and like to additionally note that "Properties" is typically
expected as the last entry within any context menu (UI/UX design).

Adding an effect to a clip is beautifully simple (drag-and-drop), but
not adding an effect to multiple clips in one hit.
This is even more problematic when you alter the default values of an
effect (e.g. clip 1) then want to apply that change over a series of
other clips.
