I'm working on a webinterface (joomla component) for opensim and tried
to google, what is the syntax opensim expects for the method
"RetrieveMessages" to return offline messages. I found so far

The objects are created using .net XML serialization. They are
opaque to the php, the XML is stored as received and then just sent
back. So that really is sufficient.

here is what i have done with drupal and it is working for 0.6.8/9 and 0.7.0.2

Ahh, now I understand: not the message itself, but the entire xml
(except the header) is stored in the db. That makes things much easier
