For some reason opensim thats running on mono 3.0.4 (dont have other mono)
is ignoring the ctrl-A d key compleet. tried a screen session with MC
and that works fine.
is there a problem with opensim 0.7.5 and ctrl key ?

Screen should capture ctrl-a d and act on it before sending anything to
OpenSimulator. I suspect it's a problem with the version of screen you are
using and/or perhaps with your terminal emulator.
