Sure, I am embedding OpenSocial in a p2p collaboration application,
and view OpenSocial as the perfect way of creating any kind of
business application where users can collaborate in real-time on all
kinds of tasks. Since all friends/peers are online and are able to
receive messages in real-time,

update 'VIEWER' app data;
Same difference, just can't do it if viewer != owner :)
