We're introducing methods to query containers for more information about the current application as well as which "surface" it occupies (a surface is the general term for where the gadget is rendering - profile, canvas, etc). You'll be able to query this information through an API call in the fut

Same problem here. I'd like for instance to provide two version of my gadget. If my gadget was a RSS feed reader I'd like On a profile page, to show feed titles only and on the application page to show titles and summary. Could'nt figure out how to to that. thx in advance xav On Nov 14, 2:10
