My application (SMS-Me http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#AppInfo?appId=543850612906)
is not working for the past 6 days.It still shows up in the
application directory.Is it blocked for some reason?

Me too! :-)
Tonight's push didn't work, all services return an empty response. The
old version is working, in case you need to test something urgently
you can switch in orkut.com.

I've trying, without success, to open sandbox for the last 3 days. I'm able
to access orkut.com without problems, but sandbox.orkut.com won't go anyway.
I've tried IE, FF and Chrome, and already cleared the cache/cookies/etc from
all of them.

application directory , but neither does it get added nor does it get
loaded.It always shows an error "Unable to add this application".What
I am developing a website which can display Orkut albums of the end
user. I went through the sample code given orkut-java-client. The 3-
legged part of it seems to be too complex. I am sure it can be much
simpler. Can some one point me to some simple jsp samples.

Did you try to click on the app thumbnail? Maybe that's harder to
discover than we thought.
Some people reported not being able to log in. It seems there's a
problem with authentication. One workaround is to go to orkut.com and
log in with your developer account
Any idea ?
It can be reproduced as follow.
Logout from orkut, clear all the cookies etc.
Go to the sample, then login to orkut and grant access.
Then it will crash.
