Orkut team doesn't support using client side templates [I think I have
spoken to you once before about it].
It might work because Shindig has it, but we little experience with it.
We haven't experimented with it as in writing our own apps etc.
I use process-on-server=true. The examples in
I gave up on using os-templates for client-side templating. I'm using
os-templates as much as I can on container-side and EJS for
client-side templating.
Thanks for referring EJS - seems quite useful alternative.
I could not understand what is container-side os-templates. Quite curious

When redering by javascript, remeber to set to do_not_auto_render any

Great! Thanks a lot, Jose. It works.
But is this not a hack? Have expressed my concerns here -
Hi Shirish,
Thanks for your feedback. The post you pointed to has links to clients
which support the new mechanism (see sample apps in each client).
Thanks for your suggestion. I succeeded using SIGNED (RSA-SHA1) mechanism my

Now I am able to do it using SIGNED (not OAUTH) mimicking more or less

Hi Shishir,
Thanks a lot! I tried lots of googling, but don't know how I missed this

Maybe the suggestion #1 is the one. Your server would return a random
value as the session identifier, and then you send this value again in
the iframe.
I see. Got the direction. Thanks a lot!

Hi Eduardorochabr,
Thanks for the vital input. It is very much helpful. However, I would need
some further guidance on the roundabouts suggested:
1) Include a token value in your first response json. Then you would
send this token in each request, which would be used to find the
session;
Maybe in the user's cache you maintain a boolean variable?

Sorry, we do not have that facility right now, but we are exploring
some options for the future.
Is there any problem if we receive payment using PayPal or any other
standard mechanism?
thanks,

How do you connect to your dev server when working locally from orkut?
I tried connecting to my localhost server, but it did not work. Hence, I
think I have upload my application in our external server for this to work.
Let me know if there is a way to work with localhost.
thanks,
Sanjay
http://docs.turbogears.org/1.0/OAuthAuthentication worked for me.
