Is there a way to create an application that runs both in OpenSocial
v0.7 and v0.8, without the need to keep two sets of code (XML files)?
In other words, is there any way to query the environment if it is
v0.7 or v0.8 and then apply some type "if" clause to run one piece of
code or the other?

Don't we even have an estimated time frame to have v0.8 in production?
That would provide some guidance if it is worth the effort to retrofit
an application to v0.7.

Changing it to v0.7 resolves the error with the Tab, but now it breaks
on "opensocial.IdSpec.PersonId", which is a v0.8 syntax. This also
means that even if I have my application approved I cannot deploy it
in production until the production environment is upgraded to v0.8.

I have an app using opensocial 0.8 and tabs.
It works fine in sandbox.orkut.com, but in prod.sandbox.orkut.com pops
"opensocial.Container.get() is null or not an object" when it tries to
display the Tabs.
Is anyone else having the same problem? Or has anyone a work around?
