Hello Orkut Developers! I'm developing an external application to interact with Orkut. As I understand, I should use REST or RPC protocol. But let me clarify the following: 1. Could I use Javascript API to access Orkut from my external application? Or I can use this API with Orkut container? I found several examples of applications, which could access user's scrap book and send messages to user's friends. I think it's not related with opensocial and it's just a hidden iframe or something else to connect to orkut's account, right? 2. As I understand REST API currently supports only a few opensocial features(getting user profile, getting user contacts, manage appdata items, filtering paginating, sorting results). Are there any other implemented features, for eg, what about 'activities' data type or media items? If these features are not supported, when should I expect the implementation? Also, are photos, thumbnailUrl name(givenName and familyName), isOwner, and isViewer the only user profile fields I can access using Orkut REST/RPC API? 3. There are no information about Orkut RPC API implementation. Does it support the same set of features, as REST? 4. There is a section in OpenSocial spec, which describes discovery service (using XRDS), which is applied against the opensocial container to get all supported features. How can I access this service using REST/RPC API? I tried, but I couldn't. 5.When the OpenSocial 0.9 spec will be supported by Orkut? 6. Can I provide a callback in my gadget xml to my external app for sending application user ID, after user installed the application in his profile? I think that it could be implemented through makeRequest javascript Call to my external application, right? 7. Could you provide some details about AppData items? What are their usage? Does Orkut supports only 'letters' AppData items through REST/ RPC API? Can you provide me with the full list of possible Orkut AppData items?
