its working fine for me, wait for few min. the orkut will ask to
crop photo or use original or cancel after u choose any option it will
get effect on u r profile, if u internet connection is slow i
recommend u to wait for few min. to let orkut ask to crop u r pic or
use orignal.

I am a very big fan of orkut but,i found a bug in this application,bus
is like this...
1. Go to home page
2. click on edit profile link
3. click on add photo
4.Browse and update photo
BUG -- photo is not updating after uploading.
