I have been working on the port of orkut os client, java version to ruby
version.
This lib aim at off-site orkut web apps.
First release is now available for those who wants a easier way to connect
ruby/rails apps and orkut.
At now, you can:
Ask orkut permission - oauth
Get profile i
You can retrieve birthday notifications, but birthday date is not allowed to
be retrieved, that is why you are getting this error. See more info here:

two day back i had posted an issue that i am unable to run
the sample program. i got bad request (400 error) while requesting
authorization URL. Today it started working. I dont know the reason. i
didn't change any thing in code. First 2 days it worked fine, then from

i developed a web app using orkut os client java.every thing is fine.

Got this error too, and in my case was oauth authencation problem. When
developing the php library, got issues like that too (and am still getting).
I reported it to Prashant, and a bug was filled.
