As I understand it this case does not cause any new open ports since the
only remote access method is the ssh based one.
Incoming ssh as root is disabled (explicitly in /etc/ssh/sshd_config and
on Indiana by root being a role) by default so it seems that this is not
usable at all in the default

PSARC 2008/021 HAL Power Management Support has timed out and no one
derailing it. So, per last PSARC meeting, the project team believes
PSARC/2008/021 case is now self-approved by timeout. We sincerely thank

I've updated the case directory with a new man page (fping.1m).
Following is an updated proposal. Basic change is that all uses of
getuid/geteuid/seteuid have been compiled out and 'net_icmpaccess' is
now required, and that the target directory for the binary is /usr/sbin.
