Also I should note that I have tried all three of the seperate start up
commands from the grub loader, where you type 'e' while open solaris is
highlighted and highlight a command and enter 'b', but still it hangs at
username Console:
When I say hangs I mean it does not load the gui, I can
Hello!
I'm a newbie for crossbow.
I've tried to install Crossbow Beta March 10 2008 according to the text How

But after the step Now apply the BFU (this one is for Crossbow beta). You must

stays at 'my username Console:' It used to load up before and skip this part
but it stays there now.
I have Windows XP and OpenSolaris dual booted using the OpenSolaris grub loader.
Also I should note that I
The typical solution to this type of problem is basically what you
outlined as option 2, provide all versions and provide a method to
choose. Only there is already a method in Solaris/OpenSolaris, namely

Just to note, when I say 'Console' I mean it loads to a part where it verify's
the ZFS filesystems (6/6) then it pops out the message Username Console:. I can
log in but it is a terminal login which enables me to carry out unix commands
so its not like a pre-gui login unfortunately.
Any help
There was no interruption of serivce.
FYI - We may need to do some additional maintenance early next week.
