not sure the why but really cups should come as default in osol, and btw you
may think as an option to extract the network printer detection algorithm in
kde4.3 cuz so far as long as the printer is in the network kde autodetect it,
my printers are hp laser, canon, lexmark.

10-12mbyte without issues using gani 2.6.4

same with msi when set I pulled 70-80 mbytes per second on a gbit line
transfering 40Gbytes before it hung. it then hung for 5 minutes and freed
itself to complete the transfers.

Sorry, typo. It's rge.mcast.3, not m
Ive heard of people that installed VirtualBox ontop OpenSolaris, and then
installed Ubuntu or Windows inside VB. And then installed the printer, and it
worked fine to print via Ubuntu/Windows.

I having problems using iscsi initiator under opensolaris. I can to connect to two
iscsi targets (one Solaris 10u8 based and another opensolaris 2009.06) without
problems. I can create zfs volums, erase files, create files, etc ... all works ok.

It seems that before shutdown the machine, some of the iscsi luns on the
iscsi initiator side are still being used.
So when shutdown, iscsi initiator can't logout from the target because
of these luns.
The iscsi discovery failure log is also caused by this. This behavior is
