OK, as I've understood Solaris always could use diskless configuration only for jumpstart install. But I'd like to do the following: shared read only disk1 is mounted on root shared read write disk2 directories are populated from template and mounted over disk1 /etc and /export/home

T5240's are very nice boxes. Please consider making arrangements to ensure adequate cooling, with the cover off the airflow would not be guided to the intended destinations. You might want to fabricate another cover with small holes for test leads. That would also serve to satisfy the
