I am curious why Opensolaris is not available for download from sites like
Softpedia but Redhat is? I am very keen that preloaded flash drives are sold to
promote the forthcoming release and downloads are widely available.Who is now
going to take up publicity in the new Oracle/Sun/Opensolaris
Hey,
many thanks to all of you!
Now my flash works.
That's what i've done:
1. copied 10.1.51.96 libflashplayer.so to ~/.mozilla/plugins/

Not sure, if this is the correct group.
I'll give it a shot anyway.
sshing into the gloabl zone and editing a file there with vi (TERM set to

Why do OpenSolaris Bible and Pro OpenSolaris both mention that zfs has
encryption? I was under the impression that it has not yet been
included in the shipping code.
I've downloaded build 134 and can find no evidence that zfs has

I am being critical here but I'm not angry. Just not really impressed.
several years ago Sun was kind of promoting Open Solaris as being a viable

I installed flashplayer from the extra repo, and it didn't work fully (video

What filesystem on V480?
How is storage configued on your server?
Boot volume on V480 is UFS.
There are two direct attached RAID controllers each with their own 2Gb fiber
channel interface.
Controller 1 is hardware RAID5, formatted as a single UFS 10TB logical drive.
