Changing the "start/exec" property of console-login SMF service to the script of
your custom menu system would be job #1. Do not know whether you've been there.
And there are a bunch of tty properties you can get from "svccfg -s console-login 
listprop".
Probably your menu script need to set the tty to a reasonable state.
