Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to use ZFS replication commands on a COMSTAR LUN? It gets created with ZFS commands, but every time I want to do a ZFS snapshot and/or zfs send... It says that the device is busy. Are the LUN's created via COMSTAR not able to have standard ZFS commands run upon them?
What I want to do is to use one giant chunk of storage on our SunFire X4500 for use to a file server and another large LUN created for virtual machine images to live on the x4500. Then I want to be able to replicate that data to a remote X4500 as a running clone... Any ideas and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
