Hi!
I'm using a HSDPA modem on my OpenSolaris but it is slow.
I think that a cause for the low speed could be the baud rate selected im my
chat file. I've selected 460800... When I tried to use higher values, it
connected using 9600.
Questions:
- Is 460800 the higher rate I can use?
- If not
I've edited "/etc/resolv.conf" and added the nameservers... But I still can't
resolve the hosts' IPs...
It seems that everything is okay... I just can't understand what is going wrong.
Thank you for your help!

Hi!
I used your suggestions and could install the modem.
But I still have a problem: I connect to my ISP but I can't use the Internet.
If I try to ping to a host name (e.g. www.kanguru.pt) it gives me "ping:
unknown host www.kanguru.pt"
If I try to ping directly to an IP address it works fine.
Hi!
I'll install OpenSolaris tomorrow for the first time. How hard will it be to
detect my E160E pen modem? Is it easy to install?
If it does not detect it automatically, how can I install it?
Thank you!
