snv_128 to snv_134, x86 Setting up iscsi against an Equallogic PS6500, I initially get between one and three connections to a target, but then the initiator starts to loose connections one by one, until there are no more connections left, and the zpool fails.
I have tried to configure scsi_vhci with f_tpgs, f_sym, f_asym_sun with load-balance=logical-block or round-robin with out being able to have it work for more than a few days. A default osol 09-06 does not seem to fail, but it has practically no load (and missing all the cool zfs stuff) When a connection is failing the Equallogic reports INFO 4/19/10 8:31:21 PM backupsata2 iSCSI session to target '10.20.225.150:3260, iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-8a0906-dc24a2706-68d0000001d4b8e2-filebackup0' from initiator '10.20.226.8:35661, iqn.1986-03.com.sun:01:8065e2eb04ff.4bc0d89c' was closed. Load balancing request was received on the array. dmesg reports Apr 19 21:29:30 dumbo iscsi: [ID 732673 kern.info] NOTICE: iscsi session(13) iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-8a0906-dc24a2706-68d0000001d4b8e2-filebackup0 offline Apr 19 21:29:30 dumbo genunix: [ID 483743 kern.info] /scsi_vhci/d...@g6090a06870a224dce2b8d4010000d068 (sd9) multipath status: optimal: path 2 iscsi0/d...@0001iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:0-8a0906-dc 24a2706-68d0000001d4b8e2-filebackup00001,0 is offline Any thing I obviously do wrong? /Sverre. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
